Report Guidelines

Reports to the National Association            
(National By-Laws Section 3.5)           

Annual and quarterly reports shall be presented to the NAMC Board, at a time and in a manner specified by the Board of Directors, which need not be the same for every organization, each chapter shall submit to the Board of Directors a written report describing the nature and scope of the activities of the chapter during the preceding year. The report shall be sufficient to demonstrate to the Board of Directors that the chapter continues to share a commitment to the purposes of the Association as specified in Article II of these bylaws and continues to work to achieve such goals.

CHAPTER REPORTS

1.  Submission of Annual Chapter Report during National’s June meeting is a required duty of each   
      chapter.  Quarterly reports should be provided to Regional VPs with copy to Executive Director.

2.   Throughout the year, chapters collect baseline data in response to pre-determined categories.     
     
Examples:

a.   Number of pre-quals circulated across members
b.   Bid opportunities identified/shared with Members
c.   Number of  contracts awarded to members as a result of Chapter’s notification
d.   Number of new members enrolled
e.   Results of Outreach efforts (new sponsors or members recruited)
f.    Corporate improvement resources shared with members
g.   Professional development initiatives shared with members
h.   Grant opportunities
i.    Basic AIA-styled prequel/profile data

(use of Best Practices Survey Tool and National Intake Form Indicators)

3.   While a Chapter may expand its data points, all chapters should collect same baseline data

4.   All Chapters should track/collect Best Practices examples.  These too should extract a set of
      baseline data

5.  Additional information, specific to the Chapter may be provided through narrative, attachments, etc
